Myofascial Yoga and Spring Forest QiGong
Myofascial Yoga Discover the wonderful world of the body’s myofascial system and how it works with gentle and mindful yoga movements. Deepen your already existing yoga practice or possibly start out fresh on your own yoga journey through this weekly practice. We will look at releasing old habitual patterns of movement which can cause tension, stress and damage in the body through the use of balls, rebounding, unwinding and intuitive yoga movements and healing breath. We will look at invigorating the body, mind and soul through sound, use of crystal bowls and guided meditation.
These sessions will be led by a Certified Yoga Teacher trained in Myofascial Yoga (200 hours) and Yoga Therapy (100 hours).

Five Elements of Healing
My journey began after I retired from 34 years of teaching and counselling as well as dealing with various significant events in my life that brought me to the point of searching and pursuing two beautiful healing modalities. One was Spring Forest Qigong. “Qi” meaning energy and “gong” meaning to work with. There are many forms of Qi Gong but this particular Qi Gong was developed by Master Lin. He revolutionized and modernized this form to be effective in today’s world. I was immediately drawn to this style and have been practising this for approximately three years and fell in love with its healing forms of gentle movement and meditation. I have gone on to obtain Level One, Level Two and Level Three training as well as the Five Elements of Healing and I am currently certified as a Qigong group facilitator. I am currently facilitating some classes at Red Deer Lake United Church and at Cedarbrae Community Hall as well as at Fish Creek Park in Calgary. The other modality that has been a passion of mine for the last three years has been on the Myofascial Yoga journey with my yoga teacher/guru Christine Wushke of Okotoks. This style of yoga is very new to the yoga world and blends scientific theory and application with gentle, restorative and releasing movements. I obtained my certified Myofascial Yoga teacher training(200 hours) from Christine and am now working on completing my three hundred hours of MYOFASCIAL YOGA THERAPY teacher training with her. I have already completed one hundred of these hours! I am looking forward to launching into teaching this amazing modality using sound through crystal bowls, meditation and props to support the body. I feel as if my journey is still taking shape and that there are many paths to travel. I am looking froward to doing this with you. Come discover and explore one of these modalities or perhaps adventure out and try both. See you soon. Namaste Dianne Goldade Master of Arts in Counselling DipLibScience Bachelor of Physical Education
